The Macklin Mohawks and Kindersley Red Lions battled in SWHL action on Friday night in Kindersley with Macklin coming out on top 3-1.

The Kyle Elks continue to shine, running their Sask Valley Hockey League record to 7-0 after two big wins last weekend.

Kyle hosted and defeated Eston 4-0 on Friday night and followed that up with an 11-3 beat-down of the Central Butte Flyers at home on Saturday night.

Other games, starting with the latest action:

  • In a rare Sunday matinée, Eston hosted and defeated Central Butte 9-3.
  • On Saturday, Outlook hosted and defeated Beechy 7-4.
  • On Friday, Beechy defeated Delisle 5-4 and Kenaston shutout Loreburn 14-0.

This week, there were two games to be played Wednesday: Eston was to host Beechy and Elrose was hosting Delisle. The results were unavailable as of press time.

Tonight (Friday), Loreburn is hosting Elrose and Eston is slated to host Kyle.

On Saturday, Beechy is in Kenaston, Outlook is in Central Butte and Delisle was scheduled to be in Eston.

Next Wednesday, Dec. 13, Eston is travelling to Elrose to take on the Aces.

It was another action-packed weekend in the SWHL with six games.

On Saturday, the Wilkie Outlaws improved their record to 8-0 on the season with an 8-4 win over ther Unity Miners.

The Kindersley Red Lions defeated the Kerrobert Tigers, 7-4 and the Macklin Mohawks defeated Biggar 6-3 on home ice.

On Friday night, the Outlaws defeated Biggar 9-6; Unity beat Kerrobert 7-5 and Macklin defeated Kindersley 3-1.

Eight games come your way this weekend, starting on Friday with Macklin visiting Eatonia; Biggar will be in Kerrobert; Luseland travels to Unity; and Kindersley will be in Wilkie to take on the Outlaws.

On Saturday night, Kindersley will be in Eatonia; Unity will visit Biggar; Luseland will be in Kerrobert; and Macklin will visit Wilkie.
