The Kyle Elks had already punched their ticket to the Sask. Valley Hockey League finals entering the week, after disposing of the Delisle Bruins in three straight games.

Scores were 9-3, 3-2 and 5-1 in their latest game, March 5.

Meanwhile, the Eston Ramblers and Central Butte Flyers were set to clash, as of press time, in game three of their series this past Wednesday in Eston. The Ramblers had a 2-0 series lead after a 7-1 win in game one, and a 6-5 overtime victory in game two March 4.

Game 3 was slated for Wednesday. Game four, if necessary, was slated in for tonight in Central Butte. Game 5, again if necessary, will be played Sunday in Eston at 5 p.m.

The Ramblers will have to continue on without the services of captain Cam Oliphant, who suffered a serious injury in a game last week.
