The Eston Ramblers pulled out a 4-2 game three victory in Kyle last Friday to stay alive in the Sask. Valley Hockey League finals.

The Ramblers, defending champions, were down two games to none and were in a must-win situation Friday and they came up big. They were to host game four, scheduled for this past Wednesday. If the Ramblers are able to score another win, game five, will be played back in Kyle this Friday at 8 p.m.

In the game three victory, goaltender Tyrell King came up huge for the Ramblers stopping 39 of 41 shots in the win. The Ramblers were only able to get 19 shots on Kyle goaltender, Matt Richard, but they made them count, scoring three and getting another on an empty net.

Scoring for the Ramblers were Brett Howe, Joe Matus, Quinn McLean and Dustin Stevenson. Scoring for Kyle were Brett Boehm and Jesse Shynkaruk.

Provincials

Beechy defeated Balcarres in game one of their best-of-three Senior B finals.

They won 10-2 March 24 in Beechy. Game two will be in Balcarres March 29 and game three, if necessary, will be played in Balcarres again Good Friday.

In the Senior D division, Kyle defeated Edam 9-2 in Kyle March 25th. Game 2 will be played in Turtleford on March 31 . Game 3, if necessary, will be back in Kyle April 1 at 5 p.m.
