It’s crowded at the top of the Fertile Valley Baseball League standings.

The Oyen Eagles, Kindersley Stallions and Kindersley Raiders all sit with a 5-1 recprd going into action Wednesday night.

The Rosetown Angels were just a half-game back at 5-2 and the Elrose Aces have a 4-2 record coming into action this week.

Here is the schedule for the upcoming week starting on Wednesday, June 20 – Eatonia visits Outlook and the Stallions will take on the Royals. June 21 – Cubs vs Angels; Stallions travel to Kyle. June 22 – Elrose will be in Kindersley to take on the Klippers and Raiders and Beechy will be in Oyen. June 24 – Raiders will be in Eatonia. June 25 – Outlook will be in Elrose and the Cubs will take on the Stallions. June 26 – Kyle will be in Rosetown and Beechy will visit Eatonia. June 27 – Elrose will be in Beechy and the Raiders will take on the Cubs. June 28 – the Klippers will take on Oyen in Kindersley; the Stallions will be in Outlook and the Wheat Kings will visit the Angels.

Rockets remain on top in the Sask-Alta Baseball league

The Richmound Rockets continue to sit on top of the standings in the Sask-Alta Baseball League going into play this week.

The Rockets have a record of 6-2 after winning their last two games over Climax – 9-6 on June 16th and an 8-7 win over Swift Current June 14.

They were scheduled to be in Gull Lake last night to take on the Greyhounds who were in second place with a 5-4 record, but have lost their last three on the road. They are however, perfect at home this season winning all four games that they have played.

Here’s a look at all of the games coming up: June 21 – Richmound in Gull Lake. June 22 – Shaunavon in Climax. June 24 – Swift Current in Medicine Hat. June 25 – Climax in Shaunavon. June 26 – Swift Current vs Climax and Cabri in Maple Creek. June 28 – Maple Creek in Richmound and Swift Current in Gull Lake.
