Last weekend was busy for SVHL teams with seven games on the schedule. In the four games on Nov. 16, the Beechy Bombers lambasted the Elrose Aces by a score of 16-1 in Beechy, Kenaston doubled up the Loreburn 19ers by a score of 8-4 in Kenaston, the Lakers defeated the Central Butte Flyers by a score of 9-5 in Lucky Lake, and the Ramblers defeated the Bruins in Eston by a score of 5-2 to hand Delisle its only loss in four games.
In three games on Nov. 17, Beechy defeated Central Butte by a score of 8-3 in Beechy, Eston doubled up the Outlook Ice Hawks by a score of 4-2 in Eston, and Kyle defeated the Aces by a score of 7-4 in Elrose.
Kenaston was in Delisle for a mid-week affair on Nov. 21, but the result was not available in time for publication. It has been slim pickings for road teams so far this SVHL season. Of the 18 games played to start the 2018-19 season, the road team has only won four of those games.
