The Lucky Lake Lakers are basically a new team in the Sask Valley Hockey League and the team is still undefeated very early on during the 2018-19 season.
All 10 SVHL teams have hit the ice after the first two weeks of the season. There are only four undefeated teams left. The Delisle Bruins are the only undefeated team to play three games, so they sit atop the standings with six points.

The only team that did not suit up last weekend was the Loreburn 19ers, but every other team played at least once. The Bruins hit the road on Nov. 9 and they downed the Beechy Bombers for a second consecutive week by a score of 5-4. The Elrose Aces were in Outlook to play the Ice Hawks on Nov. 9 and the home team blasted the Aces by a score of 13-1.
There were three games on Nov. 10 including the defending champion Kyle Elks first game at home versus the Central Butte Flyers. The Elks defeated the Flyers by a score of 5-3. Elrose hosted the Kenaston Blizzards and the Aces lost their home opener by a score of 5-2.

It is early in the season, but the Bruins, Lakers, Blizzards and Elks are all undefeated. Kyle has only played once, so they sit lower in the standings with only two points. The Aces, Bombers and 19ers are all winless at 0-2 on the season. The Ramblers are 1-1 while the Hawks and Flyers are 1-2 to start the season.
