Peewee AA
The West Central Peewee Wheat Kings offence was flying on the weekend, racking up 26 goals in just two games.
The squad earned identical 13-4 wins in the Battlefords on Friday and in Warman on Sunday. The two wins help keep the Wheat Kings on top of the standings in the Centre Four Hockey league with an 8-1-1 record for 17 points. They are five points ahead of the second place Tisdale Ramblers.
In Friday’s game, the Wheat Kings scored six unanswered goals to cap off the victory.
Goals were scored by Brett Bahm, Noah Duerksen, Cole Reschny (2), Landon Nash (3), Karson Blanchette, Boston Dipple, Austin Shepherd (2), Dayton Reschny and Carter Ralston.

Battlefords led 4-3 after one period but the Wheat Kings surged ahead and led 7-4 after two periods.
Goaltender Blake Sittler earned the win in net for the Wheat Kings.
On Saturday, the Wheat Kings jumped off to a 4-0 start and, after two periods, the score was 9-2.
Scorers for the Wheat Kings in this one were: Kaden Veller, Karson Blanchette, Brett Bahm (2), Landon Nash (2), Austin Shepherd (2), Cole Reschny (4), and Ethan Sautner.
Goaltender Tyson Borschneck picked up the win on this night.
The Wheat Kings’ next action will see them in Leroy to take on the Humboldt Broncos and they will be in Humboldt the following day to take on these same Broncos.

Bantam AA
The West Central Bantam AA Wheat Kings were in Saskatoon to take on the Generals last Tuesday but stats were unavailable at press time.
Going into the game, the Wheat Kings were third in the North Division standings with a record of 11-1-1, just four points behind Prince Albert with two games in hand.
Next weekend will be a busy one for the squad, as they travel to Saskatoon to take on the Maniacs (6-7-0-12) on Dec. 8; host Martensville (8-5-1-18) on Dec. 9 in Kerrobert; and they are back in Saskatoon on Dec. 10 to take on the Stallions (8-4-1-18).
Midget girls
The midget girls played host to the Prince Albert Beachcomber Foxes for a two-game stint last weekend and split the games.
On Sunday afternoon in Dodsland, they were badly outshot the Foxes 67-23. They couldn’t get enough goals by their goaltender Madison Chubey and dropped a 2-1 decision.
Brooklyn Rublee opened up the game in scoring, in the first period, but the Foxes replied with one each in the second and third to get the win.
On Saturday afternoon in Kindersley, they shelled the Foxes goaltender with 43 shots and came up with the win, 6-1. Rublee and Kiley Jenn scored in the first period. In the second, Keely Anderson scored twice and Rublee added another to make it 5-1.
In the third, Elena Smith found the back of the net to cap off the win.
In net for both games was Tori Stevens, who stopped 25 of 26 shots in this tilt.
The Wheat Kings are fourth in the North Sask Female Hockey League with a record of 3-3-1.
The girls host the Melfort Mustangs in Eston on Dec. 9 and again the next day in Dodsland.
